Holidays finally!!

6 Dec
My cousin's baby girl is finally one month old!! Baby Wen Shan has a lot of hair too!

The girls had fun at the poolside before the heavy downpour!

Then we sent them back, rested at mum's place before heading to airport T3 for dinner.

"Ahhhhh! I'm 10kg already??!!"

"Hehehe! 9.8kg only."

She seemed to be in a good mood that day. Look at how sweet her smile was!

7 Dec
We spent the entire day clearing the things inside our boxes and packing up the living room and storeroom. (Now it's messy again...)

8 Dec
We went to The Verge to get our Christmas deco stuff. Spent about 4-5 hours there comparing and looking around the different shops. Bought A LOT of stuff. Can't wait to put them up our Christmas tree!

Then we went to Katong to have Katong Laksa and since it was still early, we went to i12 to visit the toilet as well as to walk around. And I got my eye on the very big Santa Claus! It's now sitting in Rachael's car!

9 Dec
We went to IKEA to look for ideas as well as to get some things for our house. Bought a frame to frame up Rachael's first art piece!

Then we went to Frienzie Bar & Bistro for dinner.

Rachael was obviously in a good mood because she finished up her kid's meal of chicken sticks and smiled when the waiter took a picture for us.

The food there was not bad and much cheaper compared to the restaurant directly opposite. I had two pints of Erdinger beer because it was happy hour 1 for 1 and hubby did not like the beer.

We ended of the day by letting our pretty girl play at the playground.

10 Dec
I brought Rachael to Cool De Sac for the first time. It was not as big as I expected it to be. Nevertheless, Rachael still had fun.

Early in the morning, hubby sent us to mum's house and he left for work. Rachael probably knew that I would be bringing her out for fun, she refused to eat her lunch. So we took the bus to Aljunied Mrt station and continued the journey to City Hall by train.

At Citylink, there were lots of pretty decorations and displays.

It's so difficult to get her to look at the camera and smile.

In Cool De Sac, I only managed to capture two photos of her...

After playing for 1 hour plus, she wanted to get out. So I brought her out to have llao llao. She only had a few mouthfuls, then I brought her to Popular Fest. She was totally not interested and wanted to get back to play. Thank God we could re-enter to play again.

In the evening, hubby and I brought mum to Gardens By The Bay! It's her first time visiting. As it was already very late, we couldn't see the plants in the Cloud Forest clearly.

Flower Dome was beautiful with lights and deco for Christmas though. This is the best picture I had taken that night.

The decorations and lights did not interest Rachael at all.

She only smiled when she saw this...

And she sat on the carousel for the first time! She insisted that she wanted to play... When she got on it, she started to back out. Halfway through the ride, she cried. My oh my! Why were we not surprised? Hubby was embarrassed by her though.

We actually met Jane, Serene, Jesslin and Kyler in the midst of the crowd!

11 Dec
Hubby went to work. Rachael stayed home with me. She saw her art piece and insisted that she wants to do another one. So here we go! Then I realized the inexperienced me had gotten the wrong type of paint for her. This acrylic paint dries fast. Before she was done with her first stroke, the paint had dried up. Lol!

I also assumed that the paint is non toxic to be used on her hands...

Anyway, she had fun and I need to get new paint for her.

After art, we did some hands on activity. See how focused she was. I love to let her play with such "toys"...

I videoed her recognizing all the different colors! Our girl is growing up smart and fast!

12 Dec
We went to nearby neighborhood for lunch. There's this shop selling Christmas stuff and we went in to take a look. Outside the shop, there's this horse ride and she insisted on riding it. As usual, after putting in money and the horse started moving, she cried... Sigh!!! Glad that I captured a smiley face before the crying one.

50 cents only... With no music. No loss to me. Hahahaha!
